This movie is not serious at all; it’s a normal comedy with some twists and seriously funny moments. The story starts with Peter Highman (Robert Downy, Jr.) who is a high strung architect on his way home from Atlanta to Los Angeles to be present at the birth of his first child with his wife Sarah (Michelle Monaghan). Ethan Tremblay (Zach Galifianakis) causes a lot of problems form the beginning, he ruins the limo the Peter arrived at the airport in and he gets them both kicked off the plane because he inadvertently used the words “terrorist” and “bomb”, he also gets Peter shot but the air official with a rubber bullet. After that, they are stuck driving together to Los Angeles and there are a lot of funny situations and a lot of bickering between them.
If you want to know if it’s worth buying, renting or not worth the time of the movie. It’s a definite rent if you live a good laugh but if you’re into a good movie with a lot of replay ability, this is the movie for you.
