Over the holiday break, Justin Timberlake proposed to  Jessica Biel–his “on again, off again” girlfriend of about four years.  The couple had officially split up in March of 2011, but they got back together in September.  Ever since then, there were rumors going around that Justin had already proposed (which were not true until this December).

Justin proposed to Jessica with a custom-designed ring in Big Sky Country where they take their annual trip.  A friend of the couple explained, “Justin knows how much she loves snowboarding and the mountains, so it was the perfect place. This was the basis for getting back together.  When they reunited they had a conversation about taking the next step.” Jessica previously talked about how she was in no hurry to get married, but happily accepted the proposal.

Even when the couple had reportedly been split up, Justin still talked about Jessica, saying, “She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life. In my 30 years, she is the most special person,  I don’t want to say much more, because I have to protect things that are dear to me – for instance, her.”

Now if you didn’t know this already, I have been in love with Justin Timberlake since I was about five years old, so when I heard this, I was devastated.  Everyone I know knows that I have always believed that I was going to marry him, someway, somehow.  This still might happen, but as of now, I can say that I am very excited for him, and hope they have a happily ever after.
