Galway’s PTSA 2012 Fall Fundraiser
What is GCCS?
This year the Galway PTSA is once again bringing back a fundraiser run by GCCS, the Galway Community Circle of Support. The 2012 fall fundraiser is quite simple and will raise money easily. This fundraiser supports the programs involved, events that Galway provides for the students and our local businesses helping to support our economy. The money raised through this fundraiser will help fund the school’s events, programs and scholarships for graduating seniors at the end of the school year.
Did you know?
The PTSA awards over $4000.00 in scholarships to the graduating seniors, provides picnics in June for the entire student body, snacks and juice for the students during state testing, Science Fair awards, family fun night, book fairs, supports the Teacher Wish List Program and more.
How does it work?
Students will be sent home with packets enclosed with order forms, which will need to be sent back to the school. The order form will be used to indicate what the quantity of certificates you, friends and relatives would like to purchase for each business. Then the order form should be sent back to the school with a student, along with the full payment, in a sealed envelope to either the Elementary or High School office no later than November 9th. Checks will be payable to GALWAY PTSA.
Community members purchase $20 gift certificates from one of the businesses involved in the fundraiser. Each gift certificate is redeemable for $20 in goods and/or services at that business (some restrictions may apply). Then after a purchase, the participating business will donate $5 of each certificate sold to the PTSA.
Gift certificates have a one year expiration date and are limited to one per transaction, also having no cash value.
Certificate pick up will be on November 29th or December 6th from 5-6pm outside the Elementary Office.
