I come home from school, check my Twitter, FaceBook, Instagram, and e-mail. I try to do some homework, take a shower, then go to bed. Once in bed, out comes the iPhone and the YouTube app comes up… here I go again…

YouTube, a popular video website, which includes over 80 million videos, around 400 years worth of video, and over 100 million video views per day… you could say it’s a big deal. It brings people from all over the world together, everyone on one website. I started looking at YouTube to get tips about applying make-up but and you know what happens.  You start with one thing, like an eye shadow tutorial then end up, twenty videos later, on how to make a rainbow cake. It draws you in–there’s no escape! You fall asleep watching something, wake up and then the whole constant cycle starts again.

Everyone has their favorite videos and many people subscribe to certain vlogs.   I have my favorite categories and sections of videos to go through every day… you could say I don’t have much of a life, but we all know someone who spends their time similarly.
