Bastille’s CD Bad Blood came out in the US on September 3^rd. Bastille is originally a UK band. The UK album was released in March. Bad Blood entered the UK album chart at Number 1 early this year. It was also the first debut album to be certified platinum in the UK.

The US version of the CD includes three bonus tracks. The bonus tracks are “The Silence”, “Weight of Living, Part 1,”, and “Laughter Lines.” The CD as a whole has 15 songs. Their first single “Pompeii” recently hit number one at the alternative radio. The video for that song has up to 36 million hits. The band’s UK tour sold out on the same day the tickets were released, 44,000 tickets. Each song on the album tells a story. For example their song “Pompeii” is about a conversation between two charred bodies, frozen in time, caught in the ash that engulfed the Roman city of sin. The song “Bad Blood” is about a story of losing old friendships through a falling out inspired by the idea of growing apart. I like the band and really like the CD, I love the songs on it and how each one tells a story. You should check it out and see what you think, you might just enjoy it.
