This year Mrs. Slater’s food and nutrition classes competed in creating their own gingerbread concoctions in the spirit of the holidays. Each group chose a theme to inspire their creations, and the end products were anything but ordinary. Anna and Dakota created a church while Adrianna, Joe, and Mike crafted a winter wonderland castle representing period two. Period four entered a Norwegian house made by Kayla and Signy, a train made by Katelyn, and Mr.Shine’s office made by Elijah. There was one more entry by period four but let’s just say Noah’s house was so tasty, it didn’t quite last until the contest took place.  Check out the photos and comment on your favorite gingerbread creation!
