I am a long time Walking Dead fan and with the mid-season premiere just happening, I decided I would ask a newbie to the show their thoughts.  8th grader Walter Ellsworth started watching Season 1 in the fall of this year and watches it whenever he can. His favorite characters are Daryl and Rick because they are leaders and don’t deal with anyone telling them off. Rick stands up for his family and has no fear. Nicholas is Walter’s least favorite character because he got Noah and Aiden killed–Walter liked those characters.

Walter is currently watching season 6. Morgan just showed up to the village and the wolves started attacking. Rick just killed Jessie’s husband who was abusive, and Jessie’s husband killed Deanna’s husband.

Walter said he misses the character Hershel the most. Walter admitted at first the zombies did scare him, but it’s become more fun than scary now.

Walter anticipates Sasha will have a problem next and Deanna will too because she’s not a good leader.

He predicts there will be an attack on the town of Alexandria.

On a scale of 1-5 (5 being the highest), Walter ranked the show as a 5. This past weekend he planned to binge watch and get caught up–ask him about it!
