Welcome Mr. Miller!
For his first days as Galway’s new principal, Student Senate wanted to be sure to give the newest addition to Galway’s staff, Michael Miller, a wonderful welcome.
After school Monday, March 20th, Student Senate hosted a faculty luncheon to lend an official welcome to Galway’s new principal Michael Miller. The students adorned the library with yellow streamers and tablecloths to represent Miller’s favorite color. Upon the tables sat a plethora of fruits, crackers, and desserts. The entire spread was provided by members of the Student Senate and student body.
Directly after a faculty meeting, teachers streamed into the high school library to nibble on the snacks provided and discuss upcoming plans with their co-workers and students. Miller entered to applause from students and teachers alike and gave a brief speech before releasing everyone to go eat. He discussed his plans for the school and optimism for the future. He plans to start right away making improvements to the school and include the students in many of his changes. Welcome to Galway Mr. Miller! We are so happy to have you!
