My dog Jakkie was rescued from Adirondack Save a Stray. She has an amazing back story. She was found in the woods of North Carolina suffering from heart worms. When I adopted this sweet Jack Russell Terrier  three years ago, I had no idea how much attitude she had.  Jakkie had a Mohawk on her bottom from her heart worms, and she was very skinny and shy. Jakkie is now very plump and she believes that she is in charge. Even though in the beginning not everyone thought she was a good dog, Jakkie is one of the most loved dogs ever. Jakkie is all healed and loves going on adventures, swimming, hiking; she even dances with me sometimes. I love Jakkie. I could not imagine my life without her.
