Here is what Patchy looks like so far, as well as our soldering practice kits and the controller used to guide the robot!

Have you ever wanted to try making a robot that could do underwater tricks? Or learn new skills like cutting PVC pipe and soldering? If you did, Seaperch Robotics is the perfect activity for you!

Every Sunday, the Robotics club gathers at the Galway Public Library to assemble their self-made robot, Patchy THE CLAW. (Yep! That’s the exact name and spelling of our robot; my brother made it up.)

Our team is making great progress, since we have already attached the control panel and programmed the motors! All we have to do now to prepare it for underwater testing is to connect the propellers to guide the movement of our robot.

Our next session is June 1st, which is only a day away!

Katie likes to draw and talk to her online friends and do her homework.Katie's birthday is 10/13/2011 and she is a Libra. Katie does EMC, makes posters for Mrs. Silsby and is in NJHS. Her fav colors are green, purple, and blue. Katie has 3 pets, one is a cat named Poofy and the other is Jasper. She also has a dog named Charlie.  Katie has traveled to Florida and Pennsylvania. She has been to New York and goes to see her dad in Arizona.In the future she wants to be a Biochemist and study at Yale. Words to describe her are comical and clumsy, generous and sweet and caring. Katie's favorite food is waffles. She hopes to do an art club if there is one open for her. Katie likes to draw two things, people and landscapes. Katie watches Gravity Falls and Amphibia.
