Though it is the end of the school year, we couldn’t give up the chance to spotlight Coach D. He was in the graduating class of 2019 for our school and the class of 2023 at Cortland College.

Working with multiple grades can be difficult but he loves getting to work with different student at different skill levels.  His favorite unit to teach is gymnastics. 

He is a stellar coach for the JV volleyball, modified wrestling and baseball teams. In his little bit of spare time, he also enjoys golfing! 

Not only is a big supporter for the Golden Eagles but a huge fan of the Giants. 

If he could have any super power it would be to freeze time but still move. 

His favorite book is Hatchet and fave movie is Grown ups. Yet if he could be a star in any movie, it would be Barbie as Ken.

His dream vaca is to Italy and dream concert is Justin Bieber Eras tour.

If he wasn’t a physical education teacher, he would be a real estate agent. 

After writing so many teacher spotlights and learning so many amazing facts about the teachers, we would just like to say thank you to all the teachers who put in the hours in and out of the classroom whether it’s making lessons or just getting supplies for their class room. We appreciate you.
