Out of the Blue: Falling Back into Place

“Copeland Covered Bridge: Built by Arad Copeland below Beecher Creek Falls in 1879, it is the only NYS Queenpost Truss Bridge”

Take a right after the bridge once you get to Fuller’s Rest Stop and drive until you see the pull off on the right side of the road. It’s not hard to find, yet it still seems unknown. Copeland Covered Bridge over Beecher Creek is a secret oasis for waterfall lovers, photographers, and picnic-ers alike. A short trail parallels the road and the stream, while trees stretch overhead.  Leaves glisten on the ground with waterfall mist and multiple sets of falls babble within a brisk walk. Take a trip to Edinburgh and witness these falls in person and enjoy these beautiful photos taken by Jacob O’Brien, our Senior High Photographer. Tune in next week for another installment of “Out of the Blue.”
