The hottest new DJ around. Blasting bass beats in your headphones. Hit after hit… does anyone come to mind yet?
Well if not… David Guetta should come to mind. In case you didn’t know, right now he’s the world’s most famous DJ and is being requested to play with all sorts of popular artists.
Here’s a quick biography… David Guetta was born in France and has been DJing his entire life. He started when he was 13 years old and decided to make a career out of it. He started mixing all sorts of stuff in Europe, and became a popular act. Eventually he started getting recognition in the United States.
He’s released different albums, but I’m going to talk about his latest one “Nothing but the Beat.” Overall, if you want to listen to an album that will make you dance or put you in a really good mood, I suggest getting this album. This album was more hip/hop and pop oriented compared to his older stuff, which had more techno/electronic music. The songs on this album were catchy, provocative, easy to sing along to, and a lot of fun to dance to. It’s good party music! I’m not sure how else to describe this album. What I really liked is that Guetta combined a mix of all sorts of genres (dance/electronic/pop/hip hop) instead of his usual techno/electronic stuff. I felt that I was listening to hit after hit after hit.
Key tracks:
“Where Them Girls At”
“Little Bad Girl”
“Without You”
“Turn Me On”
“Titanium”
“Night of Your Life”
“Crank it Up”
Here are some older tracks Guetta has done that you should check out:
“Gettin Over You”
“Memories”
“Sexy Chick”
“When Love Takes Over”
I couldn’t just select a couple. These tracks caught my attention because they’re catchy and made me want to dance!
Ok…I liked this album. I felt like I was listening to a solid dance album and it wasn’t totally garbage. If you’re a die hard Guetta fan, I would say you probably won’t like this album because it is more pop oriented and has a commercialized music sound. I personally like his older stuff better because it’s more electronic based compared to pop based. But if you’re not a die hard fan then I’d say you should download this album! Or at least the key tracks. I promise you won’t be disappointed and it’ll definitely get you in a good mood!

I’m not really a pop fan, but I will give it a shot
