There are many strategies that you must use while playing chess. In the opening or beginning of the chess game, you should develop your pawn strictures. A great way to do this is it line your pawns up in an inverted V so each of the pawns is protected. You shouldn’t use a regular V because it will give the other player an outpost. An outpost is when you can attack many squares and are protected. Also only a stronger piece can take you. During the end of the opening you should bring out your knights and bishops.
In the beginning of the middle-game you should start attacking with your knights and bishops, but don’t forget about defending your king. Later on you should bring out your rooks and queen.
During the end game, you should work on check-mating the other player and defending your King.
If you want to play chess, you should come to the Chess Club at the Galway library at 3:30-4:30

Huh, this is a fun topic! Though it could use some elaboration…I might plan an article like this.
Also, in accordance with Swain: what days are this club?
