The Future of the E-Commerce Students

Mr. Swain’s E-Commerce students are heading off to college to pursue their career in June. It’s going to be sad seeing them leave. But they’re moving on and forward in their new college lives. Some of the E-Commerce students are photographers, writers, editors, cinematographers, business leaders and much more. Some of these seniors plan to go to college for…

Mariah Hayes: “I plan to graduate with my MBA and be a CEO someday. In September I plan on going to SUNY ACC.”

Elena Canelli: “I plan to go for my photography major, and take some classes in cinematography. The college I am going to is SUNY Adirondack (ACC) in Queensbury.”

Molly Pokrzywka: “I am planning on going to a college that has both art and business; I would like to pursue a career where I can apply both skills. I have applied to three colleges: Oswego, Potsdam, and Oneonta.  I would also like to advance my skills in photography, taking landscapes and wildlife photos.”

Aaron Bogdan: “The college I plan to go to is MMI. I am majoring in motorcycle mechanics.”

Jesse Uline: “The college I plan to go to is Herkimer for one year. I would like to become a nurse.”

Chelsea Cucci: “The college I plan to go to is Lasell for fashion and merchandising.”

Ryan Pappalau: “I plan to go for business but I don’t know what college I am planning to go to yet.”

Molly Pokrzywka is a Senior that has been a part of EMC for four years. She first started working with EMC because of a business class her Freshman year, wanting to be a part of the school website, and the making of school projects that are being or have been published. When she first became involved she drew the characters for the school book "Lorenzo El Loro and His Flying Adventure". Her photos help readers see products in the store, people that are involved with EMC, and images around Galway. She is a part of the 4H Dairy Club, Shooting Sports, Saratoga Country Dairy Princess, and is a Rifle Instructor. One of her pet peeves is when she sees or meets someone who has never had an ounce of hard work in their life. She spends her time raising animals, drawing, painting, photography, and traveling. One of her main goals is going to college for Art, Photography, and Business.

Elena Canelli is a Senior that helps display images for our articles. She loves photography, video making and cats. She also participates with GTV. Her main long term goal is majoring in Photography in college. She got involved with EMC because of her E-Commerce class and because she enjoys journalism in general. She also loves being involved with EMC.

Mariah Hayes is a senior who's writing gives an in site on the E-way cafe and what is going on at our school. She is in National Honor Society, science club, ski club, and dance. She enjoys working as an intern for Mr.Swain. She hopes that the EMC will improve more. She is planning to go to college for business and then become a CEO one day.
